Expert Personal Injury Lawyers
Standing up for Everyday People
Fair treatment under the law is what everyone should have a right to expect. Yet, when serious wrongdoing harms one of us in the public, and lawyers line up on both sides, justice can be hard to come by. Our law firm works to ensure the people of our communities get the fair treatment they deserve. When serious misconduct occurs, we're the lawyers who stand firmly on the side of everyday people.
“We will fight, every day, for people who have been wronged, and for people in need. We will fight for fairness and against injustice. We will do what’s right.”
We're the lawyers who work to make sure an injured member of the public is treated fairly. We're the lawyers who fight back against insurance corporations when they ignore the rights of everyday people. We're the lawyers who stand up for the rights of abuse victims and help hold their perpetrators accountable.

Record-Setting Verdicts & Settlements
Our attorneys have received statewide recognition as a result of having secured record-setting damages recoveries across the state of Minnesota.
In March 2010 a Minnesota jury walked back into a St. Cloud courtroom with a verdict of $10.5 million dollars in an abuse case. This was the largest verdict ever recorded in Stearns County, Minnesota. Michael Hall, III was the trial lawyer responsible for the record verdict. In August 2012 a Washington County Jury walked back into a Stillwater courtroom with a verdict of $798,000 in an auto-accident RFN case. This was the largest RFN verdict on record in the State of Minnesota. Again, Michael Hall, III was the trial lawyer responsible for the record verdict. In February 2015 a Hennepin County Jury walked back into a Minneapolis Courtroom and returned a verdict of $865,660.00 in an auto-accident RFN case. This eclipsed the 2012 verdict, setting yet another statewide record for the largest RFN verdict to date. Again, Michael Hall, III was the trial lawyer responsible for the record verdict.
Within the field of products liability, Mike Hall Senior's recent multi-million dollar settlements of $9,000,000.00 and $6,000,000.00 stand out as two of the top Minnesota product liability results in recent memory.

How the Process Works
Personal injury law is about fairness. Defendants should be held accountable when their wrongful conduct has caused injury. And, when people from the community are injured, they should be treated fairly under the law. Our attorneys are experts at making sure our clients receive a, full, fair and just result.
Obtaining fair compensation in a personal injury matter typically requires negotiation and/or litigation. After an injury occurs, defendants and their insurance companies will often do everything they can to avoid paying fair compensation for the injuries they have caused. They know who is represented and who is not, and they know which law firms are willing to go to trial for their clients and which are not. Facing the defense alone and without the help of an expert legal team is perilous.
If a case cannot be resolved through negotiation, our lawyers have the experience and expertise to try your case before a jury of your peers. Our attorneys guide you through the twists and turns of the legal process and make sure at-fault defendants meet their responsibility by paying full, fair compensation.
Because of the firm's consistent and high quality work, clients have given our personal injury lawyers Martindale.com's and Lawyers.com's preeminent 5.0 out of 5 client rating. The preeminent client rating is based on measures of responsiveness, quality of service, and value. It is the highest possible client rating for a personal injury lawyer.
Peer Review Ratings
As a result of our work representing injured people over the years, firm lawyers have benefited from the recognition and respect of our peers in the legal community. Mike Hall Sr. holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for both legal ability and professional ethics. Mike has been selected by his peers in the legal community as a "Leading Minnesota Attorney," a distinction received by less than 5% of all Minnesota lawyers. Mike was named a Super Lawyer by Twin Cities Business Monthly in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
In 2013 Michael Hall, III was named one of the top 100 litigation lawyers in the state of Minnesota. This is a distinction conferred by the American Society of Legal Advocates. Selection to the top 100 is based on measures of demonstrated legal achievement. In addition, Michael has been rated a Rising Star by Superlawyers.com. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to this list.
Types of Cases - Big and Small
Our personal injury lawyers spend much of their time working on cases that are catastrophic in nature, involving substantial personal injury and economic loss. Indeed, Hall Law is credited with having secured substantial verdicts around the state. Still, our lawyers also make it a point to review smaller injury cases too. If, in reviewing a smaller case we determine that a member of the public has been injured by a defendant's reckless conduct, and is then being treated unfairly, we will often take the time to help. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly, regardless of whether their injury keeps them out of work for a just a few months as opposed to a few years.
With decades of experience in personal injury litigation, our attorneys have a record of consistent, reliable, success on behalf of our clients. Our lead litigators are highly qualified trial attorneys with experience in all manner of personal injury cases, and a particular focus on catastrophic injury, death and abuse cases. Hall Law is equipped to handle civil cases from the pre-suit stage through all phases of litigation, including appeal. As a result of our firm’s strong reputation in the personal injury field, many of our injury clients come to us by referral from lawyers who practice in other areas.
Like most people, we want our streets, and towns kept safe for our families, and loved-ones. As local lawyers with local roots, we'll keep working to keep our communities healthy and safe, and to keep our courts fair for people in need.

Following trial, verdicts can be challenged, appealed, overturned, reversed, remanded, vacated and/or affirmed. Unless otherwise stated, the verdicts referenced on this website, and in other firm materials, do not account for any post-trial changes to the original verdict. Based on our knowledge as of February 6, 2015 Michael Hall III’s jury verdicts of $798,000.00 and $865,660.00 appear to stand out as the top two cases in their category. That is, in the category of car accident cases which primarily involve facet joint injuries that have been clinically diagnosed, and then treated via percutaneous nerve ablation, these appear to be the top two such verdicts in Minnesota state history.
